Microwave ablation (MWA) offers a low cost, minimally invasive treatment for cancer and other tumors. However, fundamental limitations with existing systems restrict their use to a last-resort option for just a few types of cancers. The PM system, including our novel directional MWA applicator, gives doctors the flexibility and control they need to treat dramatically more patients and medical conditions with a minimally invasive option.
