We manufacture a 2 seat turbine powered all carbon composite helicopter utilising 12 companies from around NZ. by reducing the training and operational costs of ownership. State of the art FADEC compliments this.Our 2012 Oshkosh display validated our research in the niche market of training and personal use. It can be flown here in NZ and selected other countries in the Microlight class with the remainder in the experimental/military catergory

Dick SybrandyDirector/FounderBeing 6'7" (2m) tall it was always going to be an issue fitting into a 2 seat helicopter Being an engineer by trade we have designed and built the new Auroa helicopter after 3 years of intensive research and development.
CAA have issued Dick with a maintenance approval rating.Prior to this Dick ran his own business employing up to 15 staff. -

Ian is responsible for the materials procurement, supervising and training the machine operator, machining procedures, material treatment, QA on machined parts and implementing the M1 manufacturing systems. -
Andrew KersleyAxia Design owner/directorWith a master’s degree in Technology majoring in product development plus industrial experience from NZ, UK and USA working with high end brands like Apple. Andrew brings a very broad combination of Design and Project Management skills to the Auroa team and is responsible for the CAD drawings including exploded views, assembly, body mould and engineering.
