Alex earned a PhD in nuclear science and engineering from MIT, where he advanced research in extreme-environment metallurgy and additive manufacturing—the foundation of AtoMe’s technology. Alex is passionate about overcoming the limitations of existing materials, and he leads AtoMe with the vision of creating next-generation materials that unlock new possibilities across industries.

KP is an inventor and innovator at his core, with a PhD in nanoscience for materials from Sungkyunkwan University, Research Scientist experience from MIT, more than 30 published articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and 18 patents filed surrounding materials innovations. With more than 15 years of experience in developing metallic nanocomposites, he now leads AtoMe's efforts to create the world's most durable printable metals.
