    Fred has over 30 years experience as a patent prosecutor, technology developer, and business owner with technology which revolutionized fuel dispensing/tank monitoring. He started his career in medical research/teaching after which he helped establish the University Technology Programs at Northwestern and the University of North Carolina. He holds 13 patents, several commercially successful, and has been involved in several start-ups.

    As a Partner in a "Big 4" Accounting Firm, Jim was directly involved in several IPOs. As CFO at King Pharmaceuticals, capital raising activities included $350 million convertible debenture, $650 million common stock offering, $110 million equity offering from a shelf registration and a $440 million line of credit with syndication of banks. As CFO, Jim also had a high level of dialogue with financial institutions, investor groups, rating agencies.
