McKenney double majored from the University of Akron. He is a former Division 1 athlete and professional soccer player with over 10 years of coaching experience and 26 years of relevant market experience. Over the course of his soccer career he has developed an extensive knowledge of talent identification and performance optimization including tactical, technical, biometrics and injury prevention. 

Graduated with his Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics with distinction. Akke brings expertise in implementing artificial intelligence applications to tech startups as well as an extensive network of contacts in Silicon Valley. He also brings several years of experience as a quantitative analyst, where his chief role has been to develop and implement complex mathematical models using a variety of programming languages.
