Andrew has overseen the family agricultural enterprises for 30+ years, tending cattle and growing soybeans, wheat, corn & tobacco. From 1994 until 2000, Andrew served as President of the Kentucky Hemp Growers Cooperative Association.

    Chief Research Officer, and a Director. As the Chief Research Officer of Atalo, Tom brings a wealth of experience and knowledge as well as international recognition to the Atalo team. From 1980 through 2005, Tom was and then President of F.W. Rickard Seed Company, Inc. In this capacity he led the Company to become the foremost burley tobacco seed breeder, controlling 85-90% of the US certified burley tobacco seed.

    Mr. Spalding was a founding member of the Kentucky Hemp Growers Cooperative in 1994, and president of Madison Hemp and Flax Company from 1996 until 2004. He was vice-president of the Kentucky Hemp Museum and Library from 1994 until 2010. He retired from the Univ. of Ky in 2014, where he was an extension associate for the Horticulture Dept responsible for establishing on-farm demonstration plots and conducting research on vegetable production.

    Mark received his B.S. degree in Agronomy at the University of Minnesota, and a M.S. in Agronomy and a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from Kansas State University. He was appointed an Professor of Agronomy at the University of Kentucky in 1980 with a primary role as the burley tobacco breeder. Mark developed numerous new varieties and breeding lines of burley, and he is listed as an inventor on over 20 patents,

    Joe is a founding member of Atalo with a long history in the hemp industry starting in 1994 as the founder and Executive Director of the Kentucky Hemp Growers Cooperative. Mr. Hickey meet with Governor Jones in 1994 and convinced him to establish the Hemp Commission to study the viability of hemp production in Kentucky. Colaborated with Ky. Governor Nunn to author and pass legislation in 2000 allowing hemp production in Kentucky.
