As CEO of Astarte Medical, Tracy is leading her third start up, having recently sold FedIMPACT to IP Group in 2016. Tracy spent fifteen years in venture capital as both an investor and operator of early stage health and life sciences companies. She founded NellOne Therapeutics, and invested in NuPathe, which Teva Pharmaceuticals acquired, and BioNano Genomics. Tracy has BS from New York University and MBA from Columbia Business School.

Our platform is based on Kate's extensive clinical experience and Kate's clinical background is as a NICU nurse. Her research interests at Brigham & Women's Hospital pertain to disease prediction strategies, feeding, growth, and development of preterm infants, especially the attributes of the premature gastrointestinal system and development of immunity. She received her master's in nursing from Univ of Penn and doctorate from Boston College.

Tammi spent nearly 20 years in venture capital and is a Kauffman Fellow. Her expertise in strategic finance and operations management for early stage companies will help direct resources effectively and in a capital-efficient way. Tammi will lead efforts with payers and hospital finance staff validating the ROI for adoption of NICUtrition. She received her Bachelors from University of Wisconsin – Platteville and is a Certified Public Accountant.

David has over 20 years of experience leading teams and bringing products to market. Prior to Astarte Medical, he was CEO and founder of Affirmative Prescription Solutions. APS addressed the opioid epidemic by providing real time alerts and access to State owned Prescription Monitoring Drug Programs. David had full responsibility for establishing key partnerships and delivering a fully HIPAA compliant, tightly integrated software solution.
