Asta manufactures an advanced protein product (PPP), oil, and other products from low-cost and often undesirable seafood processing residuals, by-catch and "trash" fish; turning them into high-value nutrients with superior properties. Mgr. for Nellcor Europe – turning around a losing European Operation into 12% IBT, and helping Nellcor grow from start-up to $200M. He was Dir. of Int'l. Ops for Protocol Systems; VP Sales and Mktg. for Serveron. He has extensive global operations experience and has helped raise $37M in start-up capital.

    Vice-President, Health & Wellness Applications

    Dr. Perednia has over 25 years of experience in diverse fields: agriculture, patient care, medical research, and the innovative use of technology for healthcare applications. He has been a researcher for the NIH, and was the founder/CEO of Kietra Corp., raising over $5 million in capital while designing innovative systems for improving healthcare efficiency . He holds a BA in Econ from Swarthmore, and an MD from Washington Univ., St. Louis, MO.

    Mr. Robins has 20 yrs of senior operations and 10 yrs of engineering leadership experience. He served as Wafer Fabrication Operations Senior Director at Fujitsu Microelectronics responsible for two wafer fab plants with P&L responsibility for a $450M operation with a staff of 500+ employees. He was VP Ops at TSCO Co. Mr. Robins holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from Idaho State U., a B.S. and an Engineering Management Certificate from Idaho State U.

He was Founder and COO at Advanced Hydrolyzing Systems, Inc. 1982 - 1992 Stock and Bond Broker – Dean Witter Reynolds. 1985-1988. Founder – -ase Trading & Technology, LLC. 1993-1995; Founder - Asta Ltd. 1995-current. Mr. Law earned a BS in Food Science and Technology from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon 1982.

    Advisor

    Dr. Babbitt served for 21 years as the Lab Dir, Supervisory Research Chemist, NMFS Resource Enhancement & Utilization Technologies Lab, Kodiak, AK. He authored/co-authored 75 manuscripts published in peer review scientific journals dealing with the chemical, biocheml, & microbiological changes in marine foods during handling, proc, & dist. He received the NOAA Tech Transfer Award in recognition for his research regarding the surimi process.
