    CEO

    David was a pioneering technologist at Quantum Computer Services, which became AOL. Leading a small group of programmers, David and his team wrote the original AOL1.0 software for the subscription-based online business. His AOL career culminated in his promotion to VP of Technology and Strategy. After leaving AOL, David created and developed the Video Exchange™ technology and co-founded ArtistWorks.

  • Patricia Butler
    President

    Patricia earned her Bachelor's Degree from Penn State in 1983. Working in the investment management field while continuing her flute studies with the late Julius Baker, Patricia rose to Assistant VP of Private Client Services at Merrill Lynch, a position she held until 1996. In 2007 Patricia created the subscription-based revenue and business model for ArtistWorks, which laid the foundation for its growth.

    Vice President of Marketing

    Ian is an accomplished marketing executive with over 15 years experience and a proven track record for driving growth through strategic planning, advertising, PR, internet marketing and brand development at technology companies in the Bay Area. As VP of Marketing and PR for four years at Cytiva Software he tripled revenues and leads. Ian is credited with implementing strategic marketing campaigns with multiple start-ups and early stage companies.

  • James Taylor
    Director of Global Business Development

    James studied international marketing in Canada and earned an MBA in London, England. He has spent 18 years working at the highest levels of the entertainment industry in Europe, North America and Asia with brands and artists as diverse as Sony, BMG, Yamaha and members of the Rolling Stones. James' extensive connections provide ArtistWorks with unique private label and strategic partnering opportunities with brands, experts and content companies.
