    Founder/CEO

    Mike is the founder of Artiphon and the inventor of the INSTRUMENT 1. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Sound Studies from Virginia Tech, has toured the country as a multi-instrumentalist, taught as a professor of sociology, and consulted around the world as a consumer electronics designer.

  • Kevin’s 30 years of experience in the music industry include the design of the first digital audio recorder and pioneering high-resolution audio recording. He has extensive experience in hardware engineering and Chinese contract manufacturing.

    Neal joins Artiphon following 6 years at SpaceX, where he reported directly to senior management as a Project Lead for Falcon rockets. He has also led development for Vulcan (Paul Allen’s development firm) as well as Applied Minds. In addition, Neal runs a maker workshop in Seattle that attracts high-profile designers and engineers for interdisciplinary projects.
