    Mike is the founder of Artiphon and the inventor of the INSTRUMENT 1. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Sound Studies from Virginia Tech, has toured the country as a multi-instrumentalist, taught as a professor of sociology, and consulted around the world as a consumer electronics designer.

  • Kevin’s 35 years of experience in the music industry include the design of the first digital audio recorder and pioneering high-resolution audio recording. He has extensive experience in hardware engineering and Chinese contract manufacturing.

He has experience in every area of Artiphon’s emerging platform, including hardware, software, and platform development.
