Dr Graeham Douglas founded Arete after his PhD (Bioengineering at Cambridge), inspired by his struggles with asthma. Long-term lung conditions are highly individual and change dramatically over time. The Respicorder is the first and only device to measure lung function and inflammation at home, to help match the right drug to the right patient at the right time. In the UK alone, we could help prevent 5,000 deaths annually.
