Alan has been involved in the cultivation of marine invertebrates for over 20 years. He patented the first process for coral cultivation. He designed and oversaw the construction and operation of the world's first large scale commercial coral cultivation facility on the island of Dominica. Alan completed the world’s first reef restoration project utilizing cultivated coral as featured in the September '01 issue of National Geographic Magazine.

Art has over 40 years of experience in site planning, and land development. He has a civil engineering degree from Duke University, and served in the U.S. Navy as an Officer. In the Navy, Art was in charge of military airport and seaport construction in S.E. Asia. As VP of Development Services for ITT Land Corp. in Palm Coast he oversaw the engineering, design, and construction of many large commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Alan has more than 10 years of experience in coral cultivation. Alan will execute and deliver the ACT sales/marketing strategy with international business development, market positioning, strategic partnerships, contract structuring/negotiations, and distribution logistics. He has sound analytical skills with ability to identify and implement strategies aimed at developing new markets, growing existing business, and building market share.
