Annotary is a social application and browser extension that allows users to highlight web pages they bookmark and save them into topical collections they can share with others. The web pages stay highlighted and everything gets saved for easy reference. Our goal is to capture the value of the long tail of the world's research by aggregating highlights into topical verticals.

    Co-Founder & CEO

    Ashok Nayar is an entrepreneur who loves building beautiful products that solve problems. At age 17, he published research on Molybdate Bleaching at SUNY ESF. He studied Operations Research / Industrial Engineering at Cornell before leaving to start his first company. He founded ZoSocial, an ad network for Facebook ads in 2010, then cofounded Annotary in 2012.

  • Travis Hardman
    Co-Founder & CTO

    Travis Hardman is a designer/developer specializing in product development. He earned a B.A. in Economic Theory from NYU, then served as a Producer at Indelible, managing design/dev for web projects including redesigns of Playboy.com & CooksIllustrated.com. At Drillteam/Dachis Group, he built the Talkshop community platform and The Hosties sampling app. He served as Director of Product Development for Main Street Connect before starting Annotary.
