Mr. Appel has served as CEO of Anima since 2008. Before joining Anima Mr. Appel has served as CEO of Advaxis Inc (OTCBB: ADXS.OB) a pioneer of cancer vaccines. Before that, he has been a partner and managing director of LV Equity Partners. From 1998 until 1999, he was a director of business development at Americana Financial Services, Inc. From 1994 to 1998 he was an attorney and completed his M.B.A at Columbia University.

Dr. Smilansky, inventor of PSM technology, is a mathematician with over 20 years experience in design and implementation of complex systems. He has served in key positions Procognia, Compugen, Applied Materials, Orbotech and Scitex. He is a recognized expert in image processing, holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and University College, London, and is the author of numerous scientific papers and patents.

Mr. Lufkin held founder, general management, and corporate roles with DUSA Pharmaceuticals, Linguagen, Medical Market Specialties, Proanagen, ClinDAR, and Synectiq. Early in his career he held positions with Corning Inc., in venture capital, and Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Lufkin is an Electrical Engineering graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds an M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School of of the University of Pennsylvania.
