Company Summary

Andes Impact Partners (AIP), a recently formed spin-off from Grassroots Business Fund (GBF), is managing APF-I fund, a mezzanine debt fund that supports gender-equitable businesses that generate substantial, measurable, and scalable social impact (decent jobs, incomes, or cost savings) for under-served communities, initially in Peru and Colombia. Focus sectors are Sustainable Agribusiness, Light Manufacturing, and Inclusive Tech.

Team

  • Managing Partner

    Jaime has over 20 years of experience in finance, risk analysis, and operations. Prior to AIP, he worked as CIO and COO at the GBF where he was in charge of the global impact investment portfolio and operations. Previously, Jaime managed an IT company in Peru. He holds an MBA from EAE Business School, a specialization in Structured Financial Products from IEF in Barcelona, and a BS in Physics from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.

  • Managing Partner

    Prior to AIP, Julio worked at GBF as Portfolio Manager for Latin America. He has over 11 years of experience investing in and scaling SMEs in Latin America. Previously, Julio worked as a Senior Investment Officer at CASEIF, a venture capital fund in Central America. Julio is in charge of developing investment transactions and managing the LatAm portfolio. Julio has a BA from the University of Lima, and an MBA from INCAE Business School.

  • Investment Officer (IO)

    As IO at AIP, Olga conducts due diligence and supervision of investment transactions. Prior to AIP, she was an IO for LatA at GBF. Previously, she conducted corporate strategy development and modeling of international traditional and renewable energy markets at a Russian oil company. She has also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi. She holds a BS and MA in Economics from Moscow State University and MBA from University of Michigan.

  • Managing Partner

    Prior to AIP, Natasha was part of the GBF founding management team and led GBF´s business development, investments, business advisory services, and operations in Latin America. Prior to GBF, Natasha worked as a Transaction Leader at the IFC. Natasha holds a BA in economics from the International University in Moscow, Russia; an MA in liberal arts from Dartmouth College; and an MBA from McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
