70% of world hazelnut production is located in Turkey. After processing every year there is about 300000-350000 tons of hazelnut’s shells as waste. Almost all volume of that shell is not effectively used. We have developed the world's first technology to produce high-quality activated carbon using hazelnut’s shells as row material. Now we have the relevant “know how”. Also we have already got the relevant Turkish state patent.
