AAF will be a modern washing/carding facility, establishing a market for alpaca breeders to begin the process of having their annual fiber clip put into the textile pipeline in today’s expanding fiber programs. By collecting Western States’ fiber, the cost to ship their fiber to Oregon, is greatly reduced allowing for more avenues of production to be creed in the Western Region of the US, of which there are no other large washing facilities.
