The ASFL is a professional spring football league slated to begin playing in March 2016, in the off season of the NFL. The ASFL will be a professional league with paid players and coaches on strict salary/tier'd schedules.

Each team within the ASFL is individually owned/operated (similar to the NFL). There is no revenue sharing between teams, only shared league revenue from sponsorships and partnerships. Only regional travel between teams.
