Stephan BoutenkoPresident, Founder, CEO
Mr. Boutenko is an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University graduate and has over 15 years of experience in aerospace industry, including consulting work at Boeing as a technical lead in many different areas and aircraft platforms. Mr. Boutenko has also worked at other aerospace companies such as L-3 Communications, Universal Avionics, and Jeppesen/Sanderson. Mr. Boutenko is an active pilot and a flight instructor with more than 1300 hours logged.

Karl YoungChief Technical Officer
Karl graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1975 with a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Karl’s experience in aircraft production, jet engine testing, Tokamak fusion reactor coil design, hydrogen storage, ballistic armor, composite materials, carbon nanotube engineering and manufacturing, bio-fuels, and more. Karl also served in the US Navy Reserve from 1988 to 2008 and retired as a Navy Captain (O-6).

Alex ShubsChief Project Engineer
Mr. Shubs holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering and Electrical/Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University. Mr. Shubs has mastered the disciplines of computational fluid dynamics, numerical simulations, controls, and digital signal processing. Mr. Shubs has over ten years of experience in engineering and developing highly complex and integrated aviation products, Lean and Theory of Constraints.

Nick HeinChief Design Analyst
Nick Hein is an engineer with 30 years experience at large and small airframe manufacturers in the fields of flight simulation, handling qualities and performance. He has flown, designed and analyzed many types of aircraft including airships, hang gliders, light aircraft, business jets and airliners. He has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (UW-Seattle 2000) and a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering (UM-Minneapolis 1980).
