Company Summary

Allied Microbiota (AM), a spin off from Columbia University, develops advanced microbes to quickly and cost effectively clean up environmental contamination. We use the latest tools in synthetic biology and environmental engineering to develop novel biological pathways, organisms and devices. Our products are capable of degrading recalcitrant organic pollutants in soil and sediments and emerging contaminants in groundwater.
