Michael Inskip's expertise is in leading global sales, all aspects of marketing, business development and business operations for both public and private companies. Three of his previous early stage companies that he worked for have become successful technology companies, including two Ottawa based companies; Iridian Spectral Technologies which was acquired by JDS Uniphase and Enablence Technologies which is now listed on the TSX-V.

Since joining ALFT in 2003, Mr. Dotten has led the restructuring of the company’s new research and manufacturing facilities. Mr. Dotten draws on his extensive and diverse experience to lead ALFT’s product and technology development initiatives.
Prior to ALFT, Mr. Dotten led the Corporate Centre for Excellence for Alignment Systems with Optical Process Automation – a division of JDS Uniphase.

Dr. Xu has been the Chief Scientist of ALFT since 2003, from 1999-2002 he was the Research Scientist at Advanced Laser and Fusion Technologies Inc. working on the development of soft X-ray generation by vacuum spark technology.

Meisheng Xu holds a Ph.D in the field of physical optics from London South Bank University, UK. Dr. Xu has a Masters degree in Engineering from the Institute for High Energy Electronics, University of ES and T of China.

Emillio Panarella founded Advanced Laser and Fusion Technology, Inc. a spin off from his research in the National Research Council’s plasma radiation program. His vision to use hot dense plasma as a commercially viable source for electromagnetic radiation (specifically soft X-ray generation) was the driving force behind the company’s creation.
