Company Summary

We have developed an advanced shock absorbing composite material using nano-technology called SMARTY® that drastically reduces head trauma. It will be worn by active seniors who are at risk of falling. SMARTY® will help keep the elderly mobile and out of acute care. Worn as a head-band it is soft and comfortable, incorporated into fashionable hats and scarves. Patients are more likely to wear the device as proven in clinical trials at UCLA.

As CEO and Principal Partner of Alba-Technic, Helen brings many important skills to this project including a seasoned attention to detail, coordination of efforts, and knowledge of the medical industry. Helen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from St. John's University, and became a registered pharmacist. She was a Pharmacist at Mercy Hospital and the Pharmacist in Charge of the Narcotics Program at Cony Island.

    Design Engineer, Founder of Alba-Technic LLC. Patent holder. James is a design engineer with many years of process/ product development, manufacturing, and sales and marketing knowledge. He has worked in senior management and engineering positions for some of the world's largest engineering companies. He is a minority partner of Alba-Technic LLC and is the inventor and developer of the Smarty®.
