In 1981 AKU Press Internationalbegan as a small press atop the legendary Heller's Bakery in Wash., DC. We evolved in the 80s and 90s, with book and CD/DVD releases. However, realizing the dramatic changes in the print industry we took on a new path at the turn of the millennium. Our goal was to diversify into a multi-service business with editing services, website design, animation and online ESL tutoring. We are now called AKU Productions, LLC.
