Company Summary

Airtaxback is an online service to help air passengers who don't take flights to reclaim their Taxes, Fees and Charges (TFC’s). EU airlines retained over €3.4bn in uncollected TFC's in 2012.

Trading since Janaury 2011, we have over 4,000 registered members and have recovered over €100,000 for over 3,000.

We want to expand to the UK and Europe to grow our cohort of loyal customers to 50,000 and to offer them high earning ancillary services.

    A communications consultant with 20 years experience, 10 in aviation, Whelan owns a web development business and PR consultancy, allowing him research, develop and launch disruptive ventures such as this. He has an MA in philospohy and an MBA. Married with four children, his interests include sports (rugby, sailing, cycling) and film and literature.

    Chartered accountant and director at Cork International Airport, Cullinane has over 20 years experience in the travel industry. He ran a chain of travel agents before selling it in 2002. Married with two children he enjoys windsurfing and reading philosophy.
