Company Summary

In Africa, thousands of native communities have nothing but the land surrounding their villages. Their land is being taken away from them by industrial farming operations leaving them, at best, laborers for absentee landlords.

ALM is an attempt to develop agroecological, appropriately scaled commercial farming operations, owned by the communities, to grow native crops, including traditional landrace varieties of O. glaberrima African rice.
