Our proprietary platform technology can replace conventional endoscopic surgical instruments with minimal training, while providing the same dexterity as robotic surgical systems along with tactile sensitivity and reduced operating cost.     Mr. Steege is the Co-Founder and CTO; his background is primarily in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Steege developed the technology from its infancy and raised seed funding. He has generated the intellectual property behind all pending patents and produced working prototypes of the Agile technology.

    CSO

    Dr. John Steege is the Director of the Division of Advanced Laparoscopy and Pelvic Pain in the Department of Gynecology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He has consulted with Agile EndoSurgery since the inception of the technology in 2010, utilizing over 30 years of experience with laparoscopic surgery to guide the development process.
