    John has been involved in agriculture his entire life, and began his career in the insurance industry in 1999. During his career John built his own insurance agency (Read Insurance), launched a distribution channel for UnitedHealthcare, and helped to develop new territories and lead a Regional Sales team for The Climate Corporation. John studied Marketing at Illinois State University.

    John has enjoyed ten years of management and operations experience. During his tenure as a Project Manager for the Mangieri Companies, John managed several multi million dollar construction projects across the Midwest and consulted on multiple projects for Caterpillar. From 1996 through 2000, John served in the United States Navy as a Quartermaster. He earned a Bachelor degree in Construction Management from Illinois State University.
