Affinimark is developing a revolutionary diagnostic strip for real-time detection of CSF leaks. Current technologies such as imaging and scans are time consuming, expensive, and inconvenient for the patient. A lab test, B2T, can detect CSF, however it requires large volume sample size, can be time consuming to run, inaccurate in its results when there is blood present in the sample, and is NOT cleared by the FDA for CSF leak detection.
