Aerones builds heavy lift (max 440lbs) drones for wind turbine cleaning. Wind turbines lose up to 20% of their efficiency due to accumulated dirt on the blades and icing. Servicing wind turbine blades with industrial climbers costs at least $5000 and up to two days of downtime. We have developed heavy-lift tethered drone that is much cheaper ($1000), faster and much more safe. We can clean, de-ice or apply hydrophobic and protective coatings.
