Dr. Kulstad's medical experience and chemical engineering expertise helped to inspire his invention of the esophageal temperature management device. Dr. Kulstad was educated at UT Southwestern Medical Center (MD) and University of Houston (MS Chem E).

    Dr. Ladabaum is a successful serial entrepreneur and industry-experienced executive with multiple prior exits. Most recently, Dr. Ladabaum helped to lead InSound Medical from start-up to a $200M exit to Sonova. Previously, Dr. Ladabaum was the co-founding CEO and CTO of Sensant Corporation, another venture backed startup that was successfully sold to Siemens. Dr. Ladabaumwas educated at U.C. Berkeley, Ecole Polytechnique, and Stanford University.

    Mrs. Gray joins ACT with 15 years of clinical and management expertise in the medical device industry. Her clinical experience was derived from her time at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Columbia Presbyterian. Mrs. Gray's vast knowledge of temperature management was fostered by 7 years in clinical education at Medivance, which grew $0-30M leading to a $250M exit. Mrs. Gray received her BSN from Georgetown and MS in Nursing Education from NYU.

    Mr. Shanley is an engineer, entrepreneur, and quality/regulatory strategist who has been part of the team since June 2012. Since then, he has built and maintained an ISO 13485 certified quality system and secured regulatory approvals in US, Canada, Europe, and Australia, enabling commercial launch on multiple continents. Mr. Shanley received an MS in Biotechnology from Northwestern University and a BS in engineering from University of Illinois.
