Mr. Tanous has been a venture capital investor and entrepreneur for over 30 years. He has executive management experience at several startups including AutoDesk, Mentor Graphics, OrCAD. Most recently, he served with Oregon State University’s Technology Commercialization which spun out 30 companies during his 6 year tenure. In the case of Adherial, Mr. Tanous spun it out and joined it in a full time capacity.

Managing Partner of SmartForest Ventures in Portland, Oregon. Previously, Ms. Coleman was Chairman and CEO of Merix (1994 - 2001) and VP of Materials/Operations at Tektronix. From 1981 to 1992, she held the positions of VP Operations, CFO, and VP Information Systems & Technology at Apple Computer. Ms. Coleman holds a BA from Brown University, an MBA from Stanford, and was named a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute in 1997

His career has included General Management at Mitchell Lewis & Staver, VP of Sales at Ambric, Director of Sales at MEMC, and a wide range of sales and corporate leadership roles for Advanced Micro Devices. Jim received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Oregon State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Dr. Jensen is an associate Professor in Computer Science at Oregon State University with a PhD. in Computer Science from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He specializes in software engineering and usability, with a focus on engineering systems for usable privacy and security. He has managed large-scale development efforts for the European Broadcasting Union’s Olympics IT team.

Mr. Minot has 20+ years of start-up sales and marketing management experience with companies such as Juniper Networks, Micro Magic, Sun, Daisy and National Semiconductor. He has worked with several of them from a start-up stage to their maturity as large companies.
