I take my ideas for new and improved products and follow a licensing strategy outlined by my two of my virtual mentors, Stephen Key and Roger Brown. Both are very successful inventors who have licensed multiple ideas to many companies.

My strategy is simple. I come up with an idea or design and then search for prior art. If no previous designs, products or patents like it exist I file for intellectual property protection and start pitching!
