She is responsible for the company's corporate vision and maintaining its vibrant culture. In addition, she directs commercialization efforts working closely with clinicians and acquisition partners to ensure products are viable in real world settings.

    Director, Research & Development

    As co–founder of ActMed, Roger has been an integral part of the firm's growth and success. He spearheads Research and Development with a unique talent for challenging engineers and fostering a collaborative work environment. Roger also serves as liaison to the manufacturing side of the business maintaining the balance between driving product innovation and creating products that are both viable and attractive for acquisition.

    Director, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs

    Doug is responsible for managing ActMed's ISO–certified quality management system (QMS). He ensures design and manufacturing compliance to ISO 13485, ISO 14971, 21 CFR 820, Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC, and the Medical Devices Single Audit Program (MDSAP) with a focus on proactive risk management while maintaining innovative development.

    Chris supervises the business office personnel, interfaces with our Boston CPA and interfaces with the company that oversees ActMed's cybersecurity and computer network.

  • Director, Manufacturing

    Ian is responsible for managing Actuated’s manufacturing activities and ensuring that production, performance, and quality standards are met. He ensures that the production of existing products, such as the TubeClear System is FDA cGMP compliant and works with engineers to transition new products through V&V and scale-up and into efficient production.

  • Neural Device Leader, Senior Scientist

    Kyle is responsible for managing Actuated’s Neural Devices R&D programs as well as commercial activities of the NeuralGlider Inserter, which uses ultrasonic micro-vibration to reduce forces and resultant dimpling during neural implant insertions. He manages preclinical research studies with partnering investigators at Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of North Carolina, Penn State University, and others.

  • Kevin Snook
    Acoustic Design Leader, R&D Engineer

    Kevin is responsible for development and optimization of new device concepts as well as continued advancement and evolution of Actuated’s current technologies. He focuses on performance metrics and evaluation throughout the design process. In addition, he mentors company engineers in finite element analysis and predictive device design.

  • Olga Ocόn-Grove
    Reimbursement Leader, Senior Scientist

    Olga is responsible for determining how Actuated’s products will be received by payers and what reimbursement strategy we shall pursue via interactions with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Additionally, as clinical Site Monitor, she assists Actuated Medical’s Director Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs to execute and oversee ongoing clinical studies.
