Active Life is UC Santa Barbara spin-out that develops and commercializes Reference Point Indentation (RPI) technology invented by Paul Hansma PhD. RPI technology provides the first quantitative measure of the intrinsic strength and quality of human tissues in vivo. RPI products are providing laboratory and clinical researchers with previously unavailable data that enables scientific discoveries and leads to improved clinical outcomes.
