ActivateHub, LLC creates tools that empower citizens to change their world, while offering those tools as a SaaS to other communities. The Hub serves non-profits, grassroots & civic groups, and the educated citizens that care about causes. Our automated aggregation process creates a filterable directory of civic & non-profit organizations, plus a comprehensive calendar of events. Universities and campus life are the initial target for our SaaS.

  • Lindsay Caron Epstein
    Founder

    Lindsay has a decade of experience in marketing, media and event coordination. Recently, she produced a healthcare documentary narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, an official selection at many festivals. She started a 501(c)3 for depressed teens, was a founding member of two annual large arts festivals, and has published over 30 articles in 6 different publications. She enjoys cycling, summiting mountains and skiing down them.

  • Eric Drechsel
    Lead Developer

    Eric makes distributed systems for identity services company Janrain, maintains PDXHub tech coop’s servers and web apps in support of other local organizers. He is active in a variety of open source software, civic, and bicycling communities. His natural leadership skills plus design experience have been crucial to the momentum of Alpha development.

  • Peter Welte
    Lead Developer

    A talented Drupal and Ruby developer, Peter is a recent graduate from Portland State University, and the brains behind PSU's eco-wiki website. His penchant for cycling and improving the world we live in has led him to be a founding member of multiple cycling and political organizations, and currently sits on the board of Bike, Walk, Vote political action committee.
