Company Summary

Our goals are to (1) in-license early stage IPs that have limited financial value at the current time, (2) provide the finances and expertise to advance these products through clinical proof of concept (Phase 2b) thus enhancing the potential for success and the value to Big Pharma and finally (3) out-license the IP for significant financial returns. Substantial profits will be returned to UNC.

  • James W Crow

    Jim has extensive pharmacuetical experience including Burroughs Wellcome, Glaxo Wellcome, and was a co-founder, president and COO of United Therapeutics. He has a B.S in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Kansas.

  • David M Mottola

    David has 20+years experience in pharmaceutical development including time with Burroughs Wellcome, Glaxo Wellcome, Bausch and Lomb Pharmaceuticals, and was Executive VP of Research and Clinical Development at United Therapeutics. He has a B.S. in Biology and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from UNC.

  • Kevin L Almond

    Kevin has 30 years of experience in pharmacy ownership and academia, including positions as Associate Dean of the UNC School of Pharmacy and, most recently, President of the Pharmacy Foundation of North Carolina. He has a B.S. in Pharmacy from UNC.

  • Jeff B Danner

    Jeff has 20 years experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries including Talecris Biotherapeutics and, most recently, as Sr. Director of International Commerical Operations for Grifols Therapeutics. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
