Melissa is a social entrepreneur living in Nairobi as the founder of Access Afya. Her background combines experiences from the international development and private sectors. She has worked on projects ranging from community healthcare in rural Jordan to renewable energy finance at a private bank in New York. Melissa holds a Masters Degree in Public Service from New York University.

Daphne is a Kenyan physician who trained at the University of Nairobi and worked with the public sector in Baringo for five years and returned to Nairobi to pursue an Executive MBA in Healthcare Management from Strathmore University. Daphne started as our Medical Director, and now runs the company from Nairobi overseeing marketing and sales, operations, and product teams.
