Throughout his professional career, Abraham Mashinsky has enjoyed oil painting and watercolour painting as his favourite mediums. Favourite subjects have included abstract images, landmark landscapes, flower gardens, animals and family portraits.

Abraham Mashinsky began by painting the kind of landscapes we all begin with. He quickly realized that although his efforts were satisfactory, they were not satisfying. He wanted to find his own voice, a better way to express his response to the visual world. Abraham wanted to convey the essence of a subject not just describe its visual facts. By using color and shape in a more abstract way, he developed a visual language that is uniquely his own

Abraham Mashinsky holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the Rutgers University. His work appears in more than 30 books and publications and is included in numerous collections. He is working from his own studio in New Brunswick, NJ.

Abraham Mashinsky has earned his signature status in the American Art Society. He is an International Award winning Artist who has been included in countless “Best of Art Books”. He explores extremely varied topics, always with an underlying tone of light-heartedness and fun. When he is not creating, you can find him immersing myself in New Jersey’s incredible natural outback.
