Abe Mashinsky was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rutgers University with emphasis on drawing and painting. Abe stays prolific on his art by working with many artists, sharing ideas and techniques. With his abstract compositions Abe does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colors, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Abe Mashinsky’s love of art developed at a very young age. Throughout his childhood, Abe loved creating art and could often be found at his art table surrounded by paper, pencils, paint and glue. After high school, Abe enrolled at Rutgers University and continued taking art classes to further develop his artistic skills. First it was collaging, then drawing, and finally, his true love, painting.
