Company Summary

A Rock or Something Productions is a non-profit company created and run by veterans to promote interaction between the veteran community and the civilian community through writing, stage, film, and music. We hope to expose veterans to their community and the community to THEIR veterans through art allowing not only the public to welcome their troops home, but giving veterans a chance to feel like they are finally safe to come home.

Team

  • Miah Washburn
    President

"My intent with this company is to help other veterans as well as their family members to work through their difficulties and reintegrate into society. These stories, essays, stage-plays, and screen plays have the potential to give back the sense of purpose."

  • Sean Davis
    Vice President of Academic Programs

While Sean holds his MFA from Pacific University, he maintains his street credentials as a Private Investigator. Sean is also a published writer, a seasoned editor, acclaimed graphic artist, composer, and heralded director. Soldiers had this to say about Sean, "In training he is our scholar, in feast he is our father, in ranks he is our brother, and in battle he is the god we pray to save our souls."

  • Brandon Hern
    Vice President of Business Development

Brandon's background has both depth and breadth; he was lead men into combat, backpacked around the globe, and managed multi-million dollar budgets. He retired an Executive Officer of an Infantry Company in 2010 and has since hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, went scuba diving all around the Cayman Islands, and worked for AT&T. Brandon currently is in mid-management at Starbucks and is an avid coffee drinker.
