    Brandon combines strategic planning and finance expertise to lead strategic financial activities. He also specializes in designing and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve growth objectives and position companies for exit. A former venture capitalist, Brandon helped execute deals resulting in exits valued at >$650mm in aggregate. He was also a consultant with Huron Consulting Group leading M&A activities for health systems and clinics.

    Dr. Helfet is the Chief of Orthopedic Trauma for the Hospital for Special Surgery and NY Presbyterian Hospital, professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, and is annually ranked as one of Castle-Connolly's, "America's Top Doctors.” He also served on the Board of Directors of Synthes, Chairman of AO CID, President of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

    Chief Legal Officer

    Terry has an extensive background in international business, acquisitions, and government affairs. He has served as head of legal, government affairs, business development and compliance of publicly-traded companies Including Sr VP, General Counsel, & Secretary of Medtronic, and VP & General Counsel of Synthes (acquired by J&J for $20B). He has been voted in the “Top 45 Corporate Lawyers in the USA under Age 45” and, "Dealmaker of the Month.”

    Vice President of Research & Development

    Dr. Schmidt combines development and regulatory expertise spending more than 25 years developing medical devices as well as more than 5 years as a regulator analyzing Class III devices to issue regulatory approvals for new products. Dr. Schmidt comes to Woven from K2M where he spent 11 years leading developmental research on spine pathology. Prior to K2M, Dr. Schmidt’s was with Intermedics, Quetzal Biomedical, and BSI (European Notified Body).
