Company Summary

Wes Illing plans to start-up a new company called WindKing Technologies using the technology it validated under a NYSERDA funded R&D program in 2015. The first commercialized wind driven power plant shall be a 150 KW system producing 866,000 KWH per year in a Class 3 (12-14 MPH) wind speed environment. WindKing shall primarily focus on Sales, Assembly & Test efforts, and installations. Our Strategic Partners shall manufacture our components.

    Dale graduated from Cornell in 1978 and has worked in various areas of Fluid Mechanics over his career. He supported development of the Aerodynamic Models for the computer simulations and also development of the Zero Point Blade Technology. He ran numerous tests on various materials to develop the best combination of materials for the blades and validated them with impact testing for hail stones.
