Simphotek provides critical treatment planning information to physicians using a combination of laser light and drugs to produce a chemical reaction that kills cancer cells. This treatment, called Photodynamic Therapy, or PDT, is significantly less toxic to the patient compared to other treatment types, such as chemo, radiation, and surgery.
