Joe has served as senior executive at a number of small and start-up companies.

  • Young Cho, PhD
    Chief Science Officer

    Young serves as a tenured professor of Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University. He was elected Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. He is a world-leader in developing new plasma tech for cooling water and produced water. Young authored 270+ papers in heat transfer, fluid mechanics and energy. In 1993, Dr. Cho was nominated by U.S. DoE and elected as chairman of the Advanced Fluid Committee under International Energy Agency.

    Dan has 15+ years of experience in new product development and commercialization in cleantech and medical devices. He is focused on electromechanical devices for fluid dynamics applications, including nonchemical water treatment and blood viscosity diagnostics, through the Onvector companies, which he co-founded.

  • Chief Technology Officer

    Dr. Higgins is Chief Technology Officer at Onvector and brings to the company vast technical and business expertise in advanced water treatment technology development and commercialization. Recently he has provided technical services and strategic management advice to emerging technology companies, including Onvector, in areas such as industrial water treatment, membrane separation processes and devices, electrochemical processes and devices.

  • Chief Research Scientist

    Dr. HyoungSup Kim will serve as Principal Mechanical Engineer for the program. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University based on his research in advanced plasma treatment technology for produced and flowback water from hydraulic fracturing for shale oil and gas. His doctoral
    dissertation was entitled, “Plasma Discharges in Produced Water and Its Applications to Large Scale Flow.”

  • Chief Electrical Engineer

    Mr. Niell, a physicist, has vast experience in the areas of high power and pulse electronics design and engineering, as well as high-speed algorithm implementation on field-programmable-gate-array hardware. Specializing in power RF, high voltage, high current pulse electronics, as well as nonlinear modeling of magnetic elements and circuitry. Extensive experience with switch mode power supplies for industrial applications and plasma systems.
