Joseph L. Pittera was born September 05, 1966, in New York City. At the age of 8, he moved to Lugano, Switzerland where he attended an Italian school. Later Joseph went to an American High School in Switzerland where he graduated with honors. In 1987 Joseph L. Pittera graduated from the American University in Washington, D.C. from their School of International Service with a BA in International Politics.
