Company Summary
GLCT started in 2019 as a Michigan C-corps with a mission to become the leading source of semiconductor-grade diamond materials. Its 2 co-founders are a post-silicon semiconductor materials commercialization expert and a Michigan State University (MSU) professor who leads MSU's world-class diamond materials and device effort. GLCT’s product plan is materials centric yet vertical integration potential into diamond based sensors and devices exists.

Chief Scientist & Director of OperationsDr. Quayle leads GLCT’s diamond synthesis efforts and is the PI on multiple federal funding grants. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Grotjohn’s laboratory at MSU before joining GLCT. He gained three years of experience as a research scientist in an industrial semiconductor R&D company after completing graduate school. Paul received his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from Case Western Reserve University.
