She launched Astral Jewels in 2008, a jewellery distribution business that reached over 50 retail stores in very first year of launch. She now also runs a 40-year old jewellery boutique store- Portobello Camberwell located in stylish, vibrant and busy Burke Road shopping precinct of Camberwell (Melbourne).

Patrick has a vast experience in Internet start-ups that he now uses in nurturing GemJoli. His entrepreneurial exploits include Luxjob.lu, a leading job portal that was later bought by monster.com and more recently athome.lu, the biggest realestate portal in Luxembourg which was acquired by REA Group (realestate.com.au).
