ConvinceMe is the next TED for economic debates putting the thought leaders at the disposal of the general public. The audience interacts with the speakers through asking questions and voting before and after debates to determine the winners of the debate.The company started in Egypt after the revolution (partnership with PwC, media coverage from Reuters), with plans to roll out to other countries, including Tunisia and the USA in the next years.

CofounderAshraf is an IMBA candidate at IE business school, and a chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He was a Merger and Acquisitions advisory senior manager at PwC. Ashraf has been the Vice President of CFA Egypt, following his effort in turning around the society. One of his achievements was to position CFA Egypt to win the Most Innovative initiative from CFA Institute (one of the largest global institutions for financial analysts).

Cofounder, and moderatorAhmed is a business and social entrepreneur. His professional career spans over 30 years in commercial and investment banking in ME & Europe.Ahmed is an ex-Managing Director of Endeavor Egypt. He has been mentoring entrepreneurs, and building startups in addition to capacity building for the children in the Arab slums. He is a member of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, ex-member of the Egyptian Golf Federation and a documentary filmmaker.

Tarek MansourCofounderTarek is the Egypt’s senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and an ex board member at the ME firm. Tarek is an angel investor and a founding partner in many change making organisations such as Endeavor Egypt and SIFE Egypt (AKA Enactus), a student activity that target changing the lives of people to the better.

CoordinatorNorhan graduated from the American university in Cairo (AUC) with a major in Political Science in 2003. She got MBA degree in 2010 from the MsM-MBA Outreach Program. She is currently working as Program Coordinator at IIE for undeserved undergraduate Scholarship program. Previously, she had worked as an Exchanges Programs Coordinator at AMIDEAST from August 2011-May 2014 of eight scholarship programs.
