Joshua has been developing trading strategies since 2004 when he moved to Hong Kong to join an Investment Management start-up company, his roles included Software & IT Management and Trade Desk Operations. In 2006 he founded the investment firm, Empirical Research Pte Ltd which he owns and act as Managing Director. Josh has also run consultancy services to several fund-of-funds and sits on the board of advisors for several Hedge Funds.

Filip started his career as a software engineer in Singapore in 2008 when he joined a start-up company focused on computer graphics and visualization. He has since then worked as an engineer and technical manager for a leading educational software provider in Singapore and have been a freelance engineer and designer. In 2010 he joined Joshua at Empirical Research Pte Ltd to build trading applications.
