7shifts was created in order to solve a real world problem. Everyday, managers have to deal with staff’s changing availability and overall miscommunication resulting in missed shifts. 7shifts solves this problem with its online employee scheduling app by creating a hub online - a place where both employers and employees can access the schedule from anywhere, at any time. No more missed shifts, no more miscommunication.

Jordan is no stranger to the online world. He's been dabbling with web technologies since he was 16. In 2008, Jordan launched TaxiMe (www.taxime.ca), a taxi fare estimation website. TaxiMe was quickly picked up by CBC Ottawa, CBC Regina and Ottawa Metro newspaper. It's the most used taxi fare estimation app in North America. While all of this was happening, Jordan was also working quietly on 7shifts when he realized the potential it had.

Johannes has been around the internet since age 12. After moving to Canada from Germany for University he has worked as a team lead at zu.com, an independent contractor, and most recently is a Senior Software Architect at SaskTel Labs. In his free time he maintains the Degrees app for Android.
